He's abusing his power and I8 talked him and manipulated him into think i am the bad guy!! I was not in the wrong here! Bonus just wants to cover his own *** cause he's getting admin soon... Gj Bonus you ****** me over just so you can get a higher position...

Why were you banned? Generally when players are banned a reason has to be provided.

Okay this is what happened: I8YourPlatypus wanted me to make him elliptical towers for him. Kepp in mind he didnt have the money to pay me at all. He asked !Nick, the dominator, to evaluate the worth of the build. !Nick said it was at least worth 300k without decoration. I8YourPlatypus then said he didnt have the money and said he'd pay me AFTER I made the buildings. He then proceeded to make me the bad guy to Bonus and made this unfair with a senior mod siding with him. Bonus then proceeded to tell me that i should have "trusted" I8 to pay me after i finished the build. He said that after i made the build i should wait for him to pay me. So i decided to take items as compensation

First off, I would like to remind king to take screen shots of deals done on the server, He should of screenshotted the deal, and the whole conversation.

But following that this seems like a simple case of, King didnt get his money, So he took some items.

From what i've gathered king is a old and well known player who has played for a long time, It most likely would not of taken much time for everyone to talk it out. The ban did seem a bit harsh.

If this is what i remember from chat a few masterballs were taken, couldnt king just give them back and they with staff's help could set up some way for King to be paid for all of his efforts building for the towers.

Like I dont want to spend months on a server, then get banned since I got cheated out of payment for the work I did and took a few items.

I also feel like this breaks general staff attitude, I was under the understanding from past events in chat, That you need to be careful who you trust and make sure to claim your area properly.

If not, Staff couldnt help you, Because if you trusted the wrong people, That was your fault not theirs.

There is rule #8 "You may grief unclaimed land. You may NOT grief claimed land or land you are trusted on. Doing so is punishable."

But that brings to question what is griefing?

For most of my time spent as a minecraft player i was told griefers were classified simply as : Griefing is the act of irritating and angering people in video games through the use of destruction, construction, or social engineering.

But the google definition is a bit different : a person who harasses or deliberately provokes other players or members in order to spoil their enjoyment.

I doubt in this case king was trying to ruin the other players enjoyment of the server.

In some ways wouldnt staff be considered griefers for ruining kings enjoyment of playing the server if we use the google definition.

If we interpret this as not against the rules, Maybe the contractor of the towers should of been careful who he asked to build the towers, and moved valuable items out of the chest to be extra careful.

If it is against the rules, maybe it should of been talked about so everyone could get a proper feel of the situation.

Was the ban temporary or longer? I feel like there was a serious miscarriage of justice on bonus's half, However i know that sometimes it is hard for staff to get the whole picture from biased players and re-act accordingly, So i wouldnt put all the blame on Bonus's shoulders.

I think the situation is more messed up because, I8YurPlatypus says something different to what king says, He says " King pretended to be my friend and offered to make me a house for 400k" and "Its a noob house"

Most of the thread is about towers and a payment of 300k.

So in conclusion, I think bonus, I8YurPlatypus, and Kingspenc should take the time to agree what the ban was even about, Was it about the so called "Admin Abuse", Was it about an "Abused friendship and nooby house" Or was this a case of King being hired to do a job and not getting paid for that job and feeling upset over the lack of payment.

P.S btw, dont hate me for this post, I'm just trying to get to the root of the problem instead of angering staff, or the other players.

And its I8's fault for trusting me in the first place. There is no rule saying that i can't steal from claimed buildings. It says no where in the rules. So therefore i did not break any rules

And you were banned for that? Well, as I'm only Tekkit staff I can't do much for you, but I do think that's an unfair ban, as you had every right to choose when you wanted payment and to be sure you would receive it. Also generally I don't think taking some items is really ban worthy, at most jail for 30 minutes as there was no grief to my knowledge.
