So, with lots of random suggestions I noticed that I was filling up the bar on the left at times, which some people may find annoying, so I am going to put all the new suggestions I have right now in here.

So I think I suggested this a while back, but I'm not sure whether it was rejected or just forgotten, so I might as well mention it again, I also have something to add to it.
Yesterday or the day before, I was looking at some really old forum posts, and I noticed that many of the old staff had been banned for abusing. So I would like to propose something that might reduce this happening to future mods. Chat Mods! (Or AMods (Assistant Moderators)). These people would basically just be a moderator of the chat, as in they have basic commands like /mute and /jail etc, but nothing like /tempban so if they did abuse it wouldn't be too bad. This would also help moderators and admins to get on with problems in the actual games, such as helping players who need it, or fixing glitches and bugs.


A community youtube channel
I think this may just be something more fun, rather than practical, but it could be helpful to some.
I guess this could just be a channel where people can send in clips that they found funny or wanted to be shared. The channel could also have a playlist dedicated to tutorials, so if anybody was having trouble with using a quarry in claimed land, or was wondering how EE worked, then they could just go to the channel and find a video on it, or suggest a video if it is not there. There would be one or two people who are trusted by the staff to moderate which videos get uploaded etc, and who has experience with youtube and making appropriate thumbnails, tags and descriptions. They should also probably be able to edit the video if it's a tutorial to only include the relevant information.


More things to be added, so whenever I come up with a new idea I will edit this post and add them in, so check back regularily! :)

Hope some of these can be used in the server

The Idea of a Chat mod is intressting, althought Im not sure how good it would be.
The community youtube channel seems very intressting, I think its a cool idea.

A Chat Mod would essentially be a normal mod but lacks the ability to jail people. In a way, it's a waste of file space.

The YouTube channel idea has been greatly put down by our Owner. He demanded an immediate shut down of the unofficial Pixelmon channel we had a while ago. He's also shut down the YouTube channel idea for the Tekkit servers multiple times a year ago. If our Owner doesn't want one they mean it, and they've yet to change their mind.

Chat Mod is almost useless in my views. It's just a normal Moderator without the power to jail people, basically. On a server where Moderators get the power to full on ban and IP ban people right from the start a Chat Mod might be useful in a sense.

The Owner has remained unchanged on the YouTube subject, mainly since the kind of things they want in it no one can provide. A recently resigned member of our Pixelmon staff made a pretty good video, our Owner said it was a useless effort since it had nothing that they wanted to see in it. Their extremely picky and next to no one can provide half of what they expect them to in terms of their YouTube standards.
I've told people several times that no matter how much they want a channel about the server it's not gonna happen. They didn't believe me when someone tried in our Pixelmon staff just to have the Owner demand an immediate shutdown of it.

Well, why doesn't someone find out what the server owners want in a YouTube channel, and make one to fit their needs?

If someone could provide what our Owner wants in a channel it might be considered for a minute or two, but their demands/requirements and standards are much too high, high enough even Yogscast as a whole can't fit his list of requirements, Markiplier probably couldn't even fit it.

Not sure if you read the suggestion, but when I was reading much older posts, I noticed that many of the older staff were banned/destaffed. I am not sure what the reasons for, but usually it's for abusing their power which could be prevented or if they did feel the urge to do it the effects wouldn't be too damaging to the server, if there was a chatmod rank in place. I also think it would help the newer mods have more time to fit in, or see whether the in game players like that person being a staff member. Sorry if those posts were just a waste of time.

MKI Moderators are considered as being Moderators in training. From what they do in-game, we either promote of demote them from there; a staff member's time as a MKI Moderator is counted as their time to fit in.

Well, you've said it yourself. Most ex-staff members who cause trouble end up receiving a ban, and hence the problem is dealt with.
I may not agree with them, but I still appreciate your suggestions. Thanks for sending them in.
